BeeHealthy is a digital customer engagement platform serving healthcare operators across both the public and private sectors. Part of the Finnish healthcare group Mehiläinen, BeeHealthy is the digital front door to healthcare services. It offers appointment booking, patient management, e-prescriptions, and system integrations. At this junction of healthcare, SaaS, and regulated digital infrastructure, the company must scale up but keep reliability, compliance, and a great user experience.

Business Context

Scaling capacity in a dynamic product environment. Digitalization of healthcare moves quickly, but hiring engineers does not. This was a necessary challenge for BeeHealthy to expand engineering capabilities to fuel certain projects and quickly ramp up transformations to a new technology stack. The challenge was not the steady headcount growth but scalable capacity in critical stages of the development process.
