With deep technical expertise and a passion for innovation, we help Sweden’s leading companies and organizations create tomorrow’s opportunities through digitala transformation and business development. Today, we have around 800 employees, and in 2023 our revenue amounted to SEK 1,141 million, with an operating profit (EBIT) of SEK 86 million.

Strong development since its inception in 2003.
2023
The current business area manager, Martin Stenström, is appointed at the end of the year as CEO and Group President of B3 and is expected to take office in April 2024, succeeding Sverre Bjerkeli, who has been Acting CEO since June 2023.
B3 wins the title of IT Consultant Company of the Year when the Developer Gala Developers Day is held for the first time. This award celebrates a company that has proven to be attractive and value-creating for employees, customers, and partners over several years. B3 is once again named one of the Career Companies of the Year.
The new company, B3 Secure, is established with a focus on cybersecurity.
B3 celebrates 20 years, takes on many new customer assignments, and continues to win framework agreements, including a national framework agreement with Kammarkollegiet, creating new opportunities for the Group.
2022
Anette Billing takes over as the new CEO and Group President in April, succeeding the company's founder and CEO since its inception, Sven Uthorn.
B3 is honored for its work in communication, employer branding, and wellness, winning the award for "Career Company of the Year" in the IT category.
B3 Grit is established to help customers develop new opportunities in web development and design. B3 strengthens its positions in northern Sweden, and B3 Consulting Sundsvall is renamed B3 Vibe.
B3 organizes B3 Arena for the first time, a sold-out customer event focused on the opportunities of digitalization, with several of B3's customers participating with presentations. The company continues to win several framework agreements and take on new customer assignments.
2020-2021
B3 starts five new companies and also forms several new ones by merging existing subsidiaries to further strengthen its offering to customers.

Great Place to Work (GPTW) names B3 Sweden's second-best workplace and Sweden's third-best workplace in the Large Organizations category with over 250 employees. In the autumn of the same year, B3 was also named one of Europe's best workplaces in the Best Large Workplaces in Europe category. B3 is one of six finalists when the health company Feelgood names Sweden's healthiest company.
2018-2019
The Group adopts a new brand platform and changes its name to B3 Consulting Group. At the same time, the business is organized into business areas. B3 starts the company B3 Squadra and establishes operations in Poland. Third Base AB with 34 employees, Reach Consulting AB with 40 employees, Alenio Consulting AB with 13 employees, and Nuway AB with 49 employees are acquired. B3 is listed on Veckans Affärer's list of Super Companies 2018 and takes bronze at the Magnet Awards in Employer Branding. 94 percent of employees consider B3 to be a very good workplace, according to this year's results from Great Place To Work (GPTW).
2014-2017
B3 acquires the business of Platon Solutions AB, focusing on Business Intelligence. Visab Holding AB, with a strong presence in banking, finance, and insurance, is also acquired, as well as the Stockholm-based consultancy Site of Knowledge AB, with expertise mainly in telecom.
B3 is named one of Sweden's best workplaces in its size category by Great Place to Work (GPTW) for two consecutive years. Magnet Awards recognize B3's employee wellness initiatives.
B3's shares are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm (Stockholm Stock Exchange) in December 2016.
The business expands by establishing several new operations. Furthermore, the consultancy company Init AB, strong in system development and infrastructure, the consultancy company Sentensia Q AB, with a strong presence mainly in the public sector and offices in Gävle, and 51 percent of the digital agency Rebel & Bird AB are acquired.
2010-2013
Continued profitable growth for B3, receiving additional Gazelle Awards from Dagens Industri for a total of five consecutive years.
Acquisition of the business Colosseum Consulting AB, further strengthening B3's service offering in the Oracle sector, and the acquisition of Castra Group AB, increasing presence in Gothenburg, and the IT consultancy D11 Consulting AB, providing reinforcement in key areas of expertise.
B3 launches the new operational system "B3 – Good, Better, Best" and undergoes certification according to ISO 9001:2008. The business expands, including newly established subsidiaries in Örebro and Borlänge, as well as an office in Malmö. The company wins new framework agreements, and the assignments and customer base continue to broaden. By the end of the period, the number of employees amounts to 231 people.
2007-2009
The company begins expansion in the Gothenburg market. The service offering around Oracle is strengthened, and B3 achieves status as a Certified Advantage Partner. The number of employees grows to 65 people in 2009, the same year the company receives its first Gazelle Award from Dagens Industri.
2003-2006
The company is founded in Stockholm in 2003, under the name B3IT. The business idea is to help companies and organizations streamline their IT. The company establishes a specialist group of senior consultants focusing on databases, IT architecture, and system development. The number of customers grows rapidly, and an office is also opened in Sundsvall. Specializations are made towards the healthcare sector and telecom-related assignments.
